Adding fruit and veggies smoothies to my familys daily routine was the first major step we took in an effort to eat more plants! They were the perfect start to our busy day that only took minutes to make and tasted so good. Since there are so many ways to mix and match fruit and veggie smoothies, we never got bored with the flavor combinations and were easily able to add so many different plants to our diet. It truly felt effortless!
Even though we are now very comfortable with adding fruits and veggies to our meals in oodles of different ways, smoothies remain our favorite go-to fast food for when life gets busy and we need a quick healthy meal. They arent just for breakfast, TNNers!
Banana Strawberry Soy Smoothie
- 1/2 cup plain regular or nondairy yogurt
- 1 cup regular or nondairy milk
- 1/2 banana
Blend together until smooth. If youre looking for a thicker consistency, add a few ice cubes before blending.

- Kale: Any type of kale works. Dinosaur aka lacinato, green, purple etc. Just remove the bitter rib cage. And always add more spinach than kale.

How To Make It
If you have been making numerous smoothies at home before, I assumed that you know how to make them?
Either Recipe A or B,
1. In a blender, put all the ingredients into it and blend well until smooth.
2. Next, IF FOR RECIPE B, add the spinach into the mixture and blend again until smooth with a creamy texture.
3. Pour the liquid into your favorite glass and serve it.
My, my, my, as simple as that.
