- Combine all ingredients for the flavored butter and bring it to boil over medium heat. Let it keep simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Steam the lobster over boiling water for 9 minutes for 2 pounds. Add 1 more minute per half pound. This way the lobster wont be fully cooked, but only 3/4 way through cooked. Remove lobster from the steamer and place in a ice water to stop cooking.
- Cut lobster in halves and place on a baking sheet. Brush total of 4 tablespoons flavored butter on lobster halves. High broil the lobster on the medium rack for 2 to 3 minutes or until the lobster is fully cooked. Keep it warm.
- Meanwhile, lets make the egg noodles to serve together with the lobster. Heat a wok over high heat add remanning flavored butter. Add the noodles and oyster sauce. Stir fry until the noodles are fully cooked and soft, about 2 to 4 minutes. If the noodles need to cook more, add a splash of water to help them steam and finish cooking.

What Type Of Noodles Are Best For This Garlic Noodles Recipe

One of the nice things about this recipe is you can use a wide variety of noodles to make these garlic noodles. I prefer Barilla spaghetti, which you can find at nearly any grocery store.
But, if you dont have Barilla spaghetti on hand, you could use any brand of spaghetti, thin spaghetti, or nearly any long noodle. You can also use rice noodles if that is all you have, just adjust the cook time to 3 minutes of cooking on high pressure. Gluten – free noodles work well too .

My son was craving Asian food for dinner so I decided to make this bok choy, shiitake, and garlic noodle dish. The noodles were done in 15 minutes which is perfect for a busy weeknight and they were so good! I paired these delicious noodles with some simply roasted salmon and they were wonderful together. I love that this bok choy, shiitake, and garlic noodle recipe works well as a side dish or a main dish and that they are so quick and easy to make.
What Goes Good With Garlic Noodles
These noodles pair well with almost any vegetables. I recommend sauteing or steaming them prior to serving.

How To Make Bok Choy Shiitake And Garlic Noodles
Cook the noodles in salted water per instructions. Drain reserving 1 tablespoon of the cooking water.
While the noodles are cooking, heat the butter in a large sauté pan. Add the shiitake mushrooms and the baby bok choy then cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown.
Add the minced garlic and ginger and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, reserved pasta cooking water, and sriracha to the pan and mix well.
Add the drained noodles and toss to coat evenly. Taste, season with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and sesame oil, if needed. Sprinkle the top with toasted sesame seeds. Serve with additional sriracha and soy sauce on the side, if desired. Enjoy.

How To Make Garlic Noodles Step By Step Photos
Mix the sauce before you begin. In a small bowl stir together 2 Tbsp oyster sauce, 2 Tbsp brown sugar, 2 tsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp toasted sesame oil. Stir until combined.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside. While the pasta is cooking, mince four cloves of garlic and slice about four green onions .
Heat 4 Tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and most of the sliced green onions . Sauté the garlic and green onions until soft and fragrant .
Remove the skillet from the heat, then add the cooked and drained pasta, and the prepared sauce.
Toss the ingredients in the skillet until the pasta is evenly coated with sauce. Garnish with the reserved green onions and serve.

Vegan Mushroom Garlic Parmesan Noodles
There are lots of foods out there that we all ate before going vegan that we look back on fondly.
Most of mine include copious amounts of cheese.
But luckily, there are TONS of vegan alternatives that really do taste like the real thing.
One of those things is Vegan Parmesan. I’m not talking about nutritional yeast and cashews blended up. .
My go-to vegan parmesan is from GoVeggie. It’s cheap and it tastes good. And it doesn’t have that overly salty flavor that some other brands I have tried have.
I used to only be able to find it at Whole Foods, but it started popping up at my regular grocery stores the last couple months – yay, vegan win!

Anyways, back to what we’re using this amazing parmesan for. This recipe is inspired by something I used to order at Yard House.
And while Yard House is one of my favorite places to eat out at because of all of their vegan options, this dish is unfortunately not one of them. BUT, with a few easy vegan swaps I was able to recreate it super easily.
Vegan butter, garlic, sliced mushrooms, “chicken” broth, and parmesan are mixed in with angel hair pasta and then topped with fresh green onion slices.
This recipes takes just 15 minutes from start to finish and is a comforting dish that will have you coming back for more.

Ingredients:
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 cup baby tomatoes, halved
- ½ cup chopped basil
- 1 Tbsp. grated parmesan
Directions:
Heat olive oil in sauté pan over medium-high heat until oil is shimmering. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper to taste and cook on both sides until 50% done. Add garlic and chili flakes and sauté until garlic is golden brown. Add tomatoes, basil and parsley, season with salt and pepper to taste and cook until tomatoes begin to blister.
Deglaze pan with white wine and lemon juice. Add zoodles immediately and let cook for about 20 seconds, then stir to combine.
Add to bowl and top with Parmesan cheese.

Lobster Garlic Noodles Yard House Recipes
Yield 3 to 4 servings
Number Of Ingredients 12
1/2 pound fresh Chinese egg noodles or other thin fresh egg noodles |
3 tablespoons peanut oil |
1/2 cup thinly sliced onions |
1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced thin |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon light soy sauce |
1 tablespoon Chinese oyster sauce |
1 tablespoon rice vinegar |
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste |
1 tablespoon minced fresh coriander |
Steps:
- Steam the lobsters 15 to 20 minutes. Set aside until cool enough to handle, then remove the meat from the shells and dice it.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add noodles and cook three minutes, stirring to keep them separated. Drain, rinse under cold water and drain them again. Place them in a colander lined with a paper towel to reduce moisture.
- Heat the peanut oil in a wok or a large skillet. Add the onions and saute until tender. Stir in the mushrooms and saute until they wilt. Add the garlic and all but one tablespoon of the scallions and saute briefly.
- Add the lobster meat, then add the noodles to the pan and mix well. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce and vinegar and toss to combine all the ingredients. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with coriander, toss again, then transfer to a warm serving bowl. Sprinkle with the remaining scallions and serve.
