Pasta Shells With Ground Beef
This ground beef pasta recipe is so delicious and easy that anyone can make it. I learned how to make this skillet from a friend, but he told me he was inspired by his Mexican neighbors recipe, who calls it Conchitas. The term Conchitas comes from the shape of the pasta, which looks a lot like a goulash but with a Mexican touch.
1.5 pound of ground beefGarlic clove2 cups of medium sized pasta1/4 cup of oil2 tablespoons of granulated knorr chicken broth4 tablespoons of granulated knorr tomato broth3 diced serrano peppersa handful of chopped coriandergarlic and onion powder to taste2 packages of red sazon1 laurel leaf
1 ) Brown ground beef with minced garlic, black pepper and Sazon perfecta seasoning.
2 ) While the meat is cooking, in a deep frying pan, brown the pasta shells in 1/4 cup of oil .
3 ) Drain the fat from your ground beef and add the meat to the pasta shells.
4 ) Add 4 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of granulated knorr chicken broth, 3 diced serrano peppers and 4 tablespoons of granulated knorr tomato broth, cut half an onion, a can of Rotel, a handful of chopped cilantro, 2 sachets of Sazon rouge, a bay leaf, and add garlic and onion powder to taste.
5 ) Stir and cover and cook over medium-high heat until your shells are aldente. Serve! and enjoy this easy-to-make Mexican pasta recipe with ground beef.

How To Make Picadillo
- Heat oil in a large skillet once oil is hot add the ground meat to cook. Break up large lumps of meat using a wooden spoon to make sure all the little pieces are well cooked. Fry until brown, about 8 minutes.
- Add the onion and garlic. Stir and cook for about 1 minute, just enough to allow the onion to get transparent, then add Serrano pepper plus diced potatoes. Stir and keep cooking until potatoes are slightly tender, but still firm. This will take about 5 more minutes since you will still keep cooking them when you add the tomatoes.
- Now, add the diced tomatoes and Knorr beef bouillon to your picadillo and stir again. The tomatoes will release their juices and the beef bouillon will dissolve, adding more flavor to the mix. Place a lid on your skillet and lower the heat. Keep cooking until your potatoes are completely cooked and the tomatoes have formed a thick sauce on your picadillo.
- Finally, season your Mexican Picadillo with salt and pepper and add the chopped cilantro.
Of course, I hope you serve the Picadillo together with rice and warm corn tortillas. As many of our daily Mexican meals. This dish is especially good the next day. Enjoy!

- 1 medium Spanish onion, small diced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups diced Idaho potatoes
- 3/4 cup diced carrots
- 1/4 cup diced green bell peppers
- 1/4 cup diced red bell peppers
- 1/4 cup frozen corn
- 2 tbsp Knorr Liquid Seasoning
- 1 tsp Tabasco
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 Freshly cracked black pepper
Heat a pot on medium/high heat with olive oil. Add the onions and garlic and sweat it for about 4 minutes. Once the onions are translucent, add the ground beef and sauté. With a wooden spoon, break the ground chicken up and mix with onions and garlic.
Add the potatoes and carrots. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of salt and some fresh cracked pepper. Let the potatoes and carrots cook together with the ground chicken and onion and garlic. Some liquid will come out of the potatoes and will evaporate. Mix the veggies and ground beef occasionally to prevent from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
After about 10 minutes, taste the potatoes and see if theyre tender. They dont have to be fully cooked, but as long as its getting soft, its good.
Add the bell peppers and toss again with the rest of the veggies and ground beef. You may need to turn up the heat a little. Let it cook and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Spanish Rice Stuffed Bell Peppers
Colorful bell peppers are stuffed with a combination of chorizo sausage, corn kernels, browned ground beef, Spanish rice, and cheese for a delicious weeknight meal.

|4 large bell peppers – cored, seeded, tops reserved|
|4 ounces chorizo, finely chopped|
|1 cup fresh corn kernels or thawed frozen corn|
|8 ounces lean ground beef|
|1 package Knorr® Fiesta Sides – Spanish Rice|
|1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend or Monterey Jack cheese, divided|
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 8- or 9-inch square baking dish with no-stick cooking spray set aside. Finely chop pepper tops set aside.
- Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-high and cook chorizo and corn until corn begins to turn golden and chorizo begins to brown, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir 2 cups water, Knorr® Fiesta Sides – Spanish Rice and chopped pepper tops into skillet and cook according to package directions. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese and let stand 2 minutes. Evenly stuff peppers with rice mixture and arrange in prepared baking dish. Add 2 tablespoons water to baking dish and cover tightly with foil.
- Bake 45 minutes or until peppers are tender sprinkle peppers evenly with remaining 1/4 cup cheese and bake 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

Growing up, my mom made a version of Spanish rice with ground beef that was hearty enough that it stood on its own as a main dish. During a visit a few years ago, after missing her cooking desperately, I watched her prepare it and jotted down the recipe. Serve on a bed of fresh spinach with a side of refried beans. Garnish with fresh diced tomatoes, green onions, cheese, avocado slices, and crushed chile flakes.

|3 cups water|
|1 ½ cups uncooked white rice|
|1 can tomato sauce|
|1 can diced tomatoes|
|1 green bell pepper, diced|
|1 small onion, diced|
|1 tablespoon garlic salt|

How To Make Ground Beef Stuffed Peppers
Start prepping these ground beef stuffed peppers by browning the ground beef and preparing the Knorr Herb & Butter Rice. To save time, these steps can be completed simultaneously while the oven is preheating and shouldnt take more than 10 minutes tops.
1| Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. While the oven is preheating, bring a saucepan filled with 2 cups of water to a boil to prepare the rice. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a large skillet and drain.
2| Wash and dry the red bell peppers thoroughly, then slice them in half. Remove the seeds and membranes from inside each pepper, and arrange them in a 13×9 baking dish
3| Mix the browned ground beef with the Parmesan cheese, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Fold in the prepared Knorr Herb & Butter Rice.
