Plant Based Ice Cream Smoothie Bowl
Makes 2 heaping cups
Once our kids tasted real sorbet and ice cream, it was only a matter of time before they started asking for it at home. This is our fruity version, packed with raspberries, mango, and banana. Its more tart than traditional banana nice cream, so if you find that your kiddos are sour sensitive, reduce the amount of raspberries and increase the amount of mango or banana.
You can make this in a blender, though you will likely need to stop and scrape down the sides more often. Slightly thawed fruit will also be easier to blend.
- 1 cup frozen raspberries, slightly thawed
- ½ cup frozen mango chunks, slightly thawed
- 1 medium frozen banana
1 Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and puree until very smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Depending on the power of your appliance, this may take 4 to 5 minutes.
