Ww Points For Stuffed Peppers

Weight Watchers Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili – 1 point per serving

These Weight Watchers Slow Cooker Stuffed Peppers are only 1 point each on the Purple myWW plan. They are 5 points each on the Blue plan and 7 points on the Green plan. They are filling! The points are almost all coming from the long-grain brown rice.

If you are hesitant to put the rice in there due to the pointsyou could make these with 1.5 pounds of ground turkey instead. I like the way the rice rounds out the meal though!

Another low point substitution would be to use riced cauliflower instead of long-grain brown rice.

Ww Friendly Slow Cooker Chicken Recipes & Cooking Tips

You can cook any cut of chicken in the slow cooker: thighs, breasts, legs, even whole chickens. Bone-in and boneless chicken have different cooking requirements. Here are some tips to keep in mind:

  • Chicken cooked on the bone takes longer to cook and is also less likely to overcook.
  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast meat can become tough and dry when cooked for longer than six hours on low and can sometimes be done in as little as four hours.
  • Boneless, skinless chicken thighs are less likely to dry out.
  • It’s usually best to remove the skin since it doesn’t crisp during cooking and can make the dish too greasy. If you do leave the skin on during cooking you will want to remove and discard it before serving.
  • Vegetables in crockpot recipes should go into the bottom of the crockpot, with the meat on top, because vegetables cook more slowly than meat. This arrangement will also help prevent the chicken from overcooking.

I am not affiliated with WW formerly known as Weight Watchers in any way. I am just a member who likes to create WW recipes and share them with everyone. Freestyle is the name of the current program of WW and smart points are calculated for the recipes. Some blogs list them as freestyle smart points and some list them as smart points. There is no difference between the 2.

There are some recipes on this page that contain OLDER points values from previous Weight Watcher programs on them. Just writing this here so that people are aware of this.

How is this a WW recipe? NO FOOD is off limits on WW and WW themselves stresses that a lot on their social media pages. That is one reason why I love WW. You can pretty much eat ANYTHING to lose weight just as long as you stay in your daily points range for that.

    How does Weight Watchers work?

Each recipe or food has a Smart Points value. This is calculated using calories, saturated fat, protein, and sugar. It is best to stay away from foods that are loaded with saturated fat and sugar on the plan because those foods are higher in points. When you register with Weight Watchers you are given a daily set of points to target based on your age, gender, height, and activity level. Think of it as an easier way to track your macros.

Not only is this only three points per portion, but it uses pantry staples and comes together in under 20 minutes.

Unlike some other Asian-style sauces that require rice vinegar or mirin, all youll need to make this sauce is ketchup, soy sauce, honey, ginger, red pepper flakes, garlic, and green onions.

Serve it with this three-point easy fried rice from Weight Watchers.

How To Choose The Best Slow Cooker

If you don’t have a slow cooker and are thinking of investing in one, it can be hard to know the best one to choose. You certainly don’t need a all bells and whistles expensive one, there are some great cheap options out there.

My only advice would be to ensure it has a low and high functionality on it and pick one where the dish part can be heated on a stove hob, as this is really useful for browning ingredients for flavouring. Why it is perfectly fine to just dump all ingredients in the slow cooker, depth of flavours come from browning the base ingredients, like onions, garlic, carrots and sometimes even the meat.

One like this Morphy Richards Slow Cooker Sear and Stew is perfect for all slow cooker needs. Of course there are much more expensive and fancier ones, but so long as it does the basics of the above, then it’s fine.

Peanut Butter & Banana Overnight Oats

If your daily allowance is around 27-29 points, chances are, you wont want to waste 15 points on an extravagant breakfast.

Instead, its best to stick to around 1/4 of your daily points so that you have enough left over for a hearty lunch and dinner.

Luckily, this overnight oat recipe is just five points, so you can even have a latte alongside if you want.

The magic ingredient in this is the powdered peanut butter, which has all the flavor and none of the fat.

The holidays are behind us and its time to start thinking about easy recipes that are a bit healthier than all the snacking I *might* have done during the Ugly Sweater and White Elephant parties! You know, meals the whole family will love. We often eat these healthy Chicken Lettuce Wraps or this Mexican Chicken, Rice and Veggie Casserole, but my family really enjoys chili on cold nights because it can totally be customized to their liking.

They can add some rice or quinoa to their chili for an even heartier meal. Or, they could top it with some avocado or cheese. To keep it at 4 SmartPoints per serving, youd skip the cheese, but amazing none the less!

For reference, here are the Weight Watchers points per serving: 4 SmartPoint 3 PointsPlus 2 POINTS

In less than 15 minutes, you can brown your meat, saute your onions and peppers and place the rest of the ingredients in your crockpot. Then, set it and forget it. 4-5 hours later, dinner and perhaps lunch for the next day are DONE!
