How Do You Make Fudgy Chocolate Bar Brownies
All right, heres the step by step! The perfect brownie definitely isnt rocket science, but there are some must dos to get it JUST RIGHT. This is a simple recipe. After preheating your oven to 350° F, melt butter and cocoa in a large saucepan over low heat. Once melted , pour the butter and cocoa mixture into a large mixing bowl. Add Sugar and be sure to mix it well. Next, add the eggs and mix thoroughly. Finally add the flour followed by the chocolate chips.
Pour ½ of your brownie mixture into a greased 9×13 cake pan or casserole dish. Use a spatula to spread the mixture into an even layer covering the bottom of your baking dish. Lay whole chocolate bars over the brownie mixture in one flat layer. Finally, pour the remaining brownie batter over the chocolate bars, creating an even top layer.

Tips For Making The Best Brownies
Brownies are an easy and delicious treat you can whip up in under an hour. Theyre so straightforward even the kids can pitch in.
Of course, there are some dos and donts in baking. For example:
- Do measure the ingredients carefully, and spoon the flour into the cup instead of scooping and packing too much in.
- Do let the brownies cool completely before slicing.
- Do be gentle with the batter and try not to overmix.
- Dont overbake the brownies, and be sure to pull them from the oven as soon as you see the edges pulling away from the pan.
Although brownies are hard to get wrong, I have a few more tips to ensure youll always get them right.

The Best Cocoa Powder Brownie Recipe
How to make the best fudgy cocoa powder brownies This simple and easy recipe uses Hersheys unsweetened cocoa powder with eggs, flour, sugar, butter, and oil to make the best moist homemade chewy chocolate fudge brownies from scratch. One bowl recipe.
My go-to hobbies during the quarantine have been walking, reading, crocheting, baking, and gaining weight. I have done a lot of all five.
When the lockdown was really tight, and we were asked not to go to the grocery store more than once a week, I was desperate to make some brownies but had no chocolate. And even if it would have been okay to go to the store, they were closed since now that there is a pandemic, even Walmart closes at 8:30pm.
I had only ever made brownies with chocolate chips or unsweetened chocolate before, so I didnt know exactly what to do. Even so, I was convinced that it was possible to make good brownies with only cocoa powder, and I went to work.
I fudged my way through the brownies though and ended up with a very nice fudge brownie recipe. I have included the single batch recipe, but I always double it because they disappear so quickly. As always, I prefer to use a brownie pan, but a muffin pan or even an 8×8 pan will work.
I prefer the single serving pans because then no one complains about having been cheated by poorly measured cutting, and also because everyone gets brownies with crisp edges. My family likes the crisp edges .
How To Cut Perfect Brownies
The answer to getting every single brownie cut and looking perfect is parchment paper! I used to always get frustrated with brownies and other desserts that are made in a 9X13 pan because I felt like I was always destroying the entire first row trying to get them out of the pan! Then I discovered that if you use parchment paper, you can remove all the brownies from the pan and slice them perfectly without having to dig the first few servings out with a spoon.
If you dont have parchment paper, you can just grease your pan like you usually do but you may have to sacrifice the first brownie or two before you can get perfectly cut squares out of the pan! Ill be honest sometimes I prefer to have eat the first one or two with a spoon so this isnt such a bad thing!
Also, if you allow the brownies to cool completely, they will stay together better and not fall apart when cut. This particular brownie recipe is one of the easiest to cut into squares the brownies stay intact much better than other recipes Ive tried!

Storing Chocolate Cheesecake Brownies
These usually dont last long enough to have to store them. I have learned to double the recipe when making these just to have at least one leftover for me, haha. I have a whole family that love these cheesecake brownies more than anything.

- Storing in the refrigerator: Keep the bars stored in an airtight container either in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days long.
- Freezing chocolate cheesecake brownies: Cut into square slices and add them to an airtight container to freeze.

Can I Use Hersheys Chocolate Syrup Instead Of Cocoa Powder
To be honest, chocolate syrup is not a good substitute for cocoa powder, at least not for this Hershey brownies recipe.
First of all, chocolate syrup has a lot of extra sugar in it, so your brownies may end up too sweet.
Also, Hersheys chocolate syrup is a liquid while the cocoa powder is dry. This difference will likely throw off the consistency of the brownie batter.
There are a few brownie recipes around that are made with Hersheys chocolate syrup, but the ingredients are completely different than the ones in this Hershey brownie recipe.

How To Make Epic Candy Bar Brownies
Ingredients:
- 6 pack Hershey’s chocolate bars
- 1 family size brownie mix and ingredients called for on the box. For my brand, I also needed eggs, water and oil.
Steps:
1) Mix your brownies according to the instructions of your particular brand.
2) Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick spray and pour half of the batter in.
3) Place your Hershey’s chocolate bars on top of the bottom layer of brownie batter. It doesn’t need to look pretty, as you can see.
4) Top with the remaining batter and smooth out, making sure that all of the chocolate pieces are covered with brownie batter.
5) Bake according to the directions on your brownie mix box, but ERR ON THE SIDE OF UNDER-COOKING. I cook mine for the minimum recommended amount of time and that seems to work well. You want these to be nice and moist.
6) Once they are done cooking, allow them to fully cool. THIS IS CRUCIAL. Believe it or not, you want the Hershey’s bars to completely harden again. They are MUCH tastier when you get the crunch of the candy bar in the middle. I tried them once when the chocolate was warm thinking they would be awesome, but they weren’t that great. If you are pinched for time, you can put them in the refrigerator to cool them more quickly.
7) Once your brownies are cool, slice them and serve them. But be careful! People will beg you to make these, so be ready for the requests to roll in afterwards. For that reason, think carefully about who you are willing to serve them to 🙂

Have you ever cooked something that got enthusiastic raves but was so easy that you were almost embarrassed to admit it? For cooks like me who take some kind of silly pride in making things from scratch, it’s especially embarrassing to admit that a mix was involved in the recipe. It’s even more frustrating when you’ve cooked your tail off making all kinds of good stuff from scratch, and it’s an out-of-a-cardboard-box mix recipe that everyone loves the most.
That’s my story with baking these brownies. I first heard about the recipe at a Pampered Chef show in 2005. They sounded so easy, and everyone raved about them so much that I gave them a try. King-Man said they were the best brownies he’d ever eaten. He even asked for them in place of a birthday cake that year. T-man, Brackenthebox, and all of their friends who came over for periodic feasting at football parties concurred. These brownies were the best.
So, I’m swallowing my everything-from-scratch-is-better pride and admitting that these brownies truly are fantastic. So rich and delicious that I might as well just throw in the towel and not try to improve on these. I have slightly tweaked the original recipe or more accurately, I have tweaked the assembly method. The ingredients have remained the same.

How To Make This Easy Brownie Recipe
This brownie recipe is the easiest to make because everything can be mixed together in one bowl and you dont even need a bowl for the frosting! Its the perfect one-bowl brownie recipe!
First you will need to mix the butter and sugar together with a mixer for about 2-3 minutes, until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and mix together. Add the Hersheys syrup and the flour and continue to mix until well combined.
Prepare a 9X13 pan by placing parchment paper on the bottom and up the sides of the pan. Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. If you want slightly thinner brownies, you can use a 10X15 jelly roll pan instead. If you use a jelly roll pan, only bake for about 25 minutes.
While the brownies are baking, you need to open the Hershey bars and break them up into the little squares. As soon as the brownies are done, turn the oven off and then place the Hershey bar squares all over the top -they dont have to be perfectly lined up but if you are slightly obsessive-compulsive then go ahead and put them in straight lines. You want a little bit of space in between each square.
