Th Of July Punch Recipe
We of course needed to include a punch for the biggest summer holiday! Whether you’re at the beach or having a backyard BBQ, you’ll definitely need something festive to sip on and this punch is July 4th perfection.
The three ingredients you need are tropical punch , pineapple juice, and Sprite. To make it extra festive, cut a few apples into stars and throw some blueberries and strawberries on top!
Choose Your Ingredients Wisely
Our punch recipe is very simple, but you have a few options to choose from:
- The juice: when it comes to cranberry juice, you could use a frozen cranberry juice cocktail, which typically includes a few other fruits with cranberry dominating the mix. If you go this route, mix the frozen juice according to the directions and be sure to double-check that it will yield at least two quarts once diluted with water. Another option is bottled cranberry juice one 60-ounce bottle is 1.8 quarts so you’d need an extra 1/2 cup from a second bottle. Don’t be afraid to use common cranberry juice blends, such as cranberry-raspberry and cranberry-cherry. Almost any fruity blend will work out great in this punch.
- The sparkling water: choose standard sparkling water or club soda for a nice, neutral flavor. For additional sweetness, turn to a lightly flavored soda like ginger ale or any citrus soda. With the increased availability of flavored sparkling waters today, like LaCroix and its flavorful varieties, you can concoct interesting blends.
- The fruit: choose any favorite fruit, but go with firmer ones like apples, pears, oranges, or berries like strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries. Softer fruits like raspberries or ripe peaches can get mushy in the liquid and dissolve, giving the punch a cloudy consistency.
If you’re using chilled ingredients, ice is not required, but for a pretty look go for an ice ring or mold with some of the cranberry juice-lemonade mixture and various fruits.

How To Make Festive Punch
One of the reasons I love punch is that is it SO easy.
Simply place all ingredients in a punch bowl, give it a little stir, then add the fruit and ice. Youre done!
Tips: If make this in advance leave the sparkling ingredients out and add at the last minute so you dont lose any of that lovely fizz. Leave the ice out until you are almost ready to serve so it doesnt melt and dilute your delicious punch.
Punch is so versatile and you can really have fun and experiment with the ingredients.
I plan to create more variations in the future, but in the meantime you can experiment with:
Club soda: Traditional club soda gives the punch recipe a lovely fizz without the additional calories. Its a win win!
Pomegranate juice: If youve seen my non-alcoholic mulled wine youll know Im a huge fan of organic pomegranate juice. The deep red colour also adds some gorgeous festivity to this holiday drink.
Lemonade: A super obvious way to sweeten the punch. I try to avoid lots of sugar, but there are some fantastic sugar free lemonades out there now.
Apple juice: If youre not a fan of the sparkling version, regular apple juice works well too. I always suggest organic where possible.
Alcohol free sparkling wine: Another perfect way to add bubbles to your punch! The wine also adds a lovely adult feel to this recipe.
Alcohol free red wine: A sparkling or still non alcoholic red can add a beautiful flavour and colour to your punch. Get creative!

Should I Put Ice Cubes In The Punch Bowl To Help Keep The Party Drink Chilled
No, the ice cubes will melt causing the overall flavor of this punch to be watered down. Instead, Id recommend refrigerating the lemon-lime soda and cranberry raspberry juice before making it. This way the punch is as cold as possible when you combine the ingredients.
However, you could place ice cubes in individual cups if desired.

Sparkling Chai Christmas Punch
This recipe caught my eye because I absolutely love chai flavored beverages during the holiday season! This would make a house smell amazing, and it also sounds really refreshing.
The key ingredients are chai tea, apple juice, cranberry juice, and ginger ale. The tea will prevent the drink from being too sweet, while the juices will add a fruity, tartness to it. It’s sure to put a smile on any Scrooge’s face!
Easy Carbonated Drink With Ginger Ale Pineapple Juice And Sugar Free Fruit Punch
We recently had a few friends over for a summer get together. Enjoy the beautiful summer and grill out. But in the middle of the day, with kiddos to keep happy, what on earth was I going to serve to drink?
I started looking at punch recipes, but I was shocked to see that many contain soda plus several CUPS of sugar. What?!?!
Between punch and dessert, my kids would be jumping off the walls. Plus super sugary drinks always make me feel horrible the next day.
But, I still wanted something really sweet. So I made a few tweaks to a classic punch recipe, minus all of that added sugar!
I combined everything in a large drink dispenser. We drank our punch with lunch. But if you make this for a grown-up evening gathering, rum would be a great addition

Can You Make Party Punch Ahead Of Time
Yep! If I want to make this ahead of time for a party, Ill make it in the plastic storage container and then fill empty gallon milk jugs with the party punch. Put them in the freezer and take them out a day before the party. This also works great if its SUPER HOT the day of your party, you can take them out when they are still semi-frozen and they will stay cold.
Homemade Fruit Punch Ingredients:
- Cranberry Juice- This is going to be the base for your punch. Pick a variety that is good, in your opinion.
- Pineapple Juice- If you can find pineapple coconut, that is our favorite. It can be tricky to find, but we occasionally see it at Trader Joes!
- Orange Juice- Fresh is best, but you could also go for a more quality brand like Simply Orange.
- Lime Juice- Fresh squeezed makes all the difference. In a pinch, you can use the bottled variety.
- Ginger Ale- This is an optional ingredient, but adds a fun fizzy finish.
- Fresh Fruit- For garnish you can add slices of strawberries, oranges, limes, or any fresh fruit!
