It appears that the label for these langostino tails does not specify that they were taken in the wild in recent years, despite the fact that this is a common practice for the langostino tails sold at Trader Joes.

  • Defrosting frozen langostino tails is a necessary step.
  • Once the food has had time to defrost, heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat as it continues to warm up.
  • Toss some garlic into the pan and throw in some Langostino.
  • After two or three minutes of sautéing in the butter, add the parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • It works well in tacos, but it also goes well with pasta or rice.

Trader Joes frozen foods are so much cheaper than eating out. Some of these foods will probably end up stocked in your freezer at all times!

I buy several of these frozen foods at a time when I shop at Trader Joes so I always have an extra one on hand when needed.

I like to consider most of these options as meal starters. What does that mean? Well these products are great options for variety and flavor, but on their own are usually not full, balanced meals. I may keep other easy options on hand to add to the meals like a variety of frozen vegetables, proteins like burgers/patties, shrimp, and cooked chicken strips, and grains like their rice medley.

When choosing meals, I considered several factors such as sodium and fiber. A note on sodium, while 600 mg may seem like a lot for a food, if were aiming for 2000 mg per day, 600 for a meal is actually reasonable!

The wonderful, thick, and creamy texture of Trader Joes Coconut Cream makes it perfect for smoothies, as well as for enhancing the body and depth of flavor in soups and stews, or any other dish or beverage that may benefit from similar characteristics. In case you were wondering, the main difference between coconut cream and coconut milk is that the former is thicker.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Coconut should cover a small baking sheet.
  • Bake on the center rack for 3 to 5 minutes, until browned. Remove from oven and cool.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs using a fork. Sugar, flour, and salt in a pot.
  • Mix butter and coconut cream. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stop cooking.

  • To make zoodles from zucchini use a spiralizer or veggie peeler. If using veggie peeler you can peel in long strips to make wide zoodles.

  • Once meatballs are ready mix with tomato basil sauce and add smoked paprika for taste

The flavor and consistency are spot-on for what youd expect from rice cooked in a traditional pot. To top it all off, you wont get organic brown rice this cheap anywhere else, much alone that it can be prepared in only three minutes.

    • Right away, remove the plastic bag containing the rice from the freezer.
