So, I tried it with another revered option: the gluten free all purpose baking flour by King Arthur. I feel that this one does great. There have been times when my Walmart only carried their gluten free all purpose flour bakingmix which according to them, has more baking powder and salt, and its turned out fine, in case youre in a pinch too. I have not tried it with other brands. When you find one that works, its hard to want to risk ruining it by trying it other ways. If you try it with another blend, please let me know! Please note that each brand and type of flour can result in wildly different outcomes.

We have been enjoying my gluten free sandwich bread, but I have been looking for something a little different. I wanted something a little more dense.

I was looking for a bread that would work well for paninis or grilled cheese sandwiches. I recently saw a recipe for a gluten free, dairy free, and egg free bread, for the bread machine. It sounded like what I was looking for, but I was not sure if I wanted to try it.

I was skeptical about this bread working. I mean how could it work without gluten, dairy, and eggs, but I decided to give it a try.

When I took it out of the bread machine, it was so ugly that I was sure this was another gluten free disaster that would end up in the trash, but I was wrong. This bread was surprisingly good.

I had planned on making grilled cheese sandwiches out of it, because I have been craving one of those, but we ate it for dinner with pasta, and there was none left for sandwiches.

So, if you are looking for a good gluten free bread to use for paninis or grilled cheese sandwiches you should give this a try. It is definitely going on my list of gluten free recipes to make again.

How To Make A Gluten Free Breakfast Casserole

Gluten, Egg & Dairy-Free Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting!
  • In a medium frying pan over medium heat, cook breakfast sausage. Use your spoon or spatula to break the sausage into pieces as it cooks. Once itâs cooked and no pink remains, turn of the heat and remove the pan from the burner. Add the thawed hash browns, cheese, crumbled cooked breakfast sausage, and diced green onions to a large mixing bowl.
  • Stir to combine. The cheese might start to melt a little, but thatâs okay.
  • Pour the sausage and hash brown mixture into your prepared baking dish and spread it until its evenly distributed.
  • In the same large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hash brown mixture. The egg mixture will start to sink into the hash brown mixture. No need to stir it.
  • Bake for one hour, uncovered or until the center is set and the edges are brown. Remove from the oven and let site for 10-15 minutes before serving. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.

    How To Make Gluten

    You can make gluten-free pancakes dairy-free by using dairy-free milk in place of normal dairy milk in the recipe. I usually use almond milk or coconut milk, because thats what I have on hand most often, but you can use any dairy-free milk you have on hand.

    You can also swap out the butter for oil, coconut oil, or vegan butter. If you use vegan butter in the recipe, be aware if there is salt in the butter as this will affect the outcome of the flavor of the pancakes.

    My family prefers the flavor of coconut oil in the pancakes, but weve used all three butter replacement options with success.

    • Dont use fresh bread in this strata recipe. Stale bread, croutons, or crusty bread soaks up the liquid and becomes soft and fluffy when baked with the eggs. Fresh bread would become too mushy.
    • Strata can soak overnight or for up to 12 hours. The longer the better.
    • Cooked strata puffs up like a soufflé. You can insert a toothpick in the center to tell if its done. If its runny, then it needs more time.
    • Dont leave cooked strata out for more than two hours.

    You sure can! In fact, thats one of my favorite ways to make them. You can make them the day before and keep them in the fridge for a quick reheat breakfast. Theyll last up to 3 days in the fridge.

    Or if you want longer storage, you can freeze them for a quick and easy breakfast you can enjoy even on a weekday morning.

    What To Serve With This Honey Mustard Sheet Pan Dinner

    Since the pan already has the starch and protein we just serve it with some canned green beans for ease. You could of course, use fresh and roast them with the chicken and potatoes, but Id rather save the room on the pan for more potatoes. Im Idahoan, if you couldnt tell

    Or, you could serve it with some other vegetable. A side salad, beets, or asparagus might be nice as well. Really, whatever side youd prefer, you cant go wrong.

    Its always nice when the recipe makes most of the dinner for you, so you only have to worry about a side dish or two.
